The Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the research & development of Energy Saving Inverters for the Renewable Energy Industry with an emphasis upon the Wind Turbine market. Other duties include software programming, updating schematics, PCB design layouts, managing single-person R&D projects, on-site Applications Engineering, electronic power network modelling and systems simulation.

As the successful Power Electronics Engineer, you will have a proven background in Power Electronics, with design, applications and systems experience. Preference goes to those with experience in the renewable and power generation industries and Inverter experience is a must. On top of 2 to 3 years in a similar role, you will need a flexible approach to your work as this Power Electronics Engineer position is multi-faceted and covers many disciplines. You will have confidence in producing both written & verbal 3rd-party reports and will of course be a team player with ambition.
