Area Sales Manager based in the North East for a Global Manufacturer, Salary circa £35K to £40K (DOE)

Area Sales Manager covering the North East region of the UK with emphasis upon the A1/M1 corridor. The role will encompass driving existing business whilst developing new business across various industries dealing with OEM's and End Users direct whilst utilising the distribution partners where required. The Area Sales Manager will have responsibility for selling the company's Inverter Drives products along with the wider portfolio of automation products which include PLC and HMI.

As the successful Area Sales Manager you will not only have a provable & successful field sales background, you will be technically conversant with the products described, and will have the ability to add technical value to the customer's service. It is likely you will be qualified to a minimum of HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent and you will be self-managing, enthusiastic and motivated in your approach to sales.
